Time in The Word – Psalm 1

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭1:1-6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

What it says to me…

God blesses those who pursue Him and His plans for their lives.

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

However, the wicked will be punished and cursed with separation from God.

How does it work…

Spend time in the Word, memorizing and meditating on it and God will give blessings. By spending this time in the Word, I cannot help but become more like Christ. I will also find and learn God’s will as He reveals to me the objective of why I am here…which cog in the grand scheme does my life fulfill.

Be blessed!
