There used to be a show on television called “In Search Of”. In the show Leonard Nimoy would search for information about things to prove out if they were fact or fiction. Topics were things like UFOs, Lost City of Atlantis, Noah’s Ark, and other such things.
As a Christian I am in search of some things… I am not in search of God as I have sought Him and found Him. I am saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ my Savior and the cleansing redemptive work of the blood of Christ and the power of the Spirit. However, I am in search of perfection in Christ; ever pursuing righteousness. I know as a man on this earth I will never attain the perfection that I will receive at the end but I will press on straining toward the mark of the high calling of Christ Jesus my Lord.
