Wind Chimes

I love wind chimes. Each chime is built In a key and that is why the multiple tubes make such beautiful sounding noise. Each tube vibrates at a specific harmonic tone. I also have one that is a gong type, it is a thicker single chime with a large ball and plate. This gong makes a very deep sound when the wind blows on it.

On breezy days these chimes just go and go, making their music. It can be relaxing listening to them when a light breeze is blowing. When heavy winds are blowing it can become quite noisy, but it is still harmonic noise.

We as a body of believers should also be harmonic in our voicing of the gospel as the wind of the Spirit leads us.

“The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. … This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad. All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:12-13, 25-27‬ ‭NLT

In fighting of Christians is a big deterrent of those outside the faith as they see no difference between the church and the world. Jesus commands us to love each other and by doing this we show that we are his followers.

“Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John‬ ‭13:35‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Paul tells us in Romans that since we are believers we belong to each other as part of the body.

“Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.” Romans‬ ‭12:4-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Let us then share the gospel in harmony with one another until the end.

Be blessed!
