To miss the mark, to fall short, to not perform as expected, to do something wrong, to not start…
All of us have failed to be all that we can be. None of us are perfect in our lives. There is something everyday that we do that we could do better. Maybe it’s an attitude or diet or a reaction or a process at work. We all fall short on a daily basis.
In our spiritual lives we also fail in some aspect daily. It is in those times of failure that we receive a spiritual nudge to correct ourselves. We can grow callous to the Spirit by ignoring Him too long. If we don’t feel the nudge then we are ignoring the spirit’s prompting and that is a dangerous place to be. We must always respond and repent when prompted.
