Being filled with uncertainty or full of difficulty in understanding. This subject baffles me…this confounded example is difficult for me to grasp. These are a couple of phrases that tie back to the word perplexed.
As human beings we like to understand what our senses tell us. Most debates are based on people discussing their understanding on some topic. At the root of it we all want to understand and discussion works to share information. Strongly held opinions lead to heated debate or arguing (step away and cool down).
So being perplexed will drive us to try and find an understanding for ourselves. Let’s live in such a way that the world is perplexed by our confidence and peace. We should hold our heads high and press on in hardship. “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NLT
Let’s perplex the world so they come to us to find the answer to their confusion.
